Albert Ellis around the world who are mourning his death, on July
24, 2007, in New York City. Dr. Ellis, 93, had been seriously
ill for more than a year.
One
of the most influential, creative, colorful and controversial
individuals in the history of professional psychology, Dr. Ellis is
often credited as the "creator
of psychology's cognitive revolution" for his innovative Rational
Emotive Behavior Therapy.
The
